In 2014, a small group of actors began helping each other put down self-tapes & "jam" scenes for upcoming auditions. As the auditioning landscape changed & our workload grew, so did the need for easy & efficient self-taping practices so we invested in higher quality camera, sound & lighting equipment.

When our actors began seeing some success, there was increased interest in our services & we began receiving coaching requests from both actors & their agents/managers on their behalf. Thus, CoachToCast was born.

Today, the world of auditioning has changed forever & self-tapes are the new norm, so we strive to offer any actor a fresh approach to their process & a safe space to give their best shot at landing their next role.

Coach to Cast Founder: TJ Power

TJ is a multi-award winning director & professional actor in theatre, television & film with over a decade of experience. He trained at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts - ranked among the world's top acting academies) as well as with numerous coaches & directors in Australia & the U.S. Since 2008 he has worked around the globe on feature films & television alongside the world's best in the industry & has an AFI AACTA nomination, and has been recognized by the Casting Society of America's 'Actor of the Month' initiative with IMDBPro.

Since 2012, TJ has been helping actors & entertainers achieve their best performance whether in preparation for an audition, during the audition, or as part of the rehearsal process. His approach is all about play to make the discoveries to release an active & interesting performance. Whether you wish to work on vocal technique, physicality, scene analysis, or simply want to drill a scene before the big day, TJ can help you to make sure you are ready to perform.
